Spiritual Direction: What is It? Am I Being Called? Come and See

Spiritual Direction in the tradition of the Catholic Church is a ministry of spiritual accompaniment for those seeking to grow in knowledge and love of the Lord. Those who serve as spiritual directors are lay men and women, deacons, consecrated religious, and priests. If you are curious about the tradition and ministry of spiritual direction, if you think the help of a spiritual director would benefit you, or if you sense that you are being called to become a trained spiritual director and would like more information, then please consider joining us for a “Come and See” information evening. This event will occur at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 306 W. Fourth Street, Hinsdale. Deacon Tony Clishem, the Office of Catechetical Formation Lead for the Diocese of Joliet, will offer a short presentation followed by a spiritual director panel discussion and Q & A.
